Dating to around the 1970-80’s and centred with an oval cabochon solid Lightning Ridge crystal Opal of mauve/violet tones.
Crafted in Sterling silver and stamped ‘Handarbeit’ which is, interestingly, German for Handcrafted or Handmade, also stamped with makers marks ‘G.S’ and 925 for Sterling silver.
The Opal in set in a raised open basket setting with tapered upswept shoulders to a flat shank.
Cool, funky, quite retro in style this pretty ring is quite captivating, subtle in hue until the sun hits her and she then displays bright almost iridescent sparkles of intense purple flashes!
