Crafted in Denmark in or around the late 1960’s to 1970 from Sterling Silver this fantastically chic and modernist bracelet weighs an incredible 105 Grams!
Stamped ‘Handmade’ - ‘Made in Denmark RS’ - DSD and with and import make for London and date letter ‘p’ indicating import (to London ) 1970.
The ‘RS’ is the makers mark for Randers Sølvvarefabrfik - Randers Sølvvarefabrik is a silverware factory in Randers, a medium-sized town on the peninsula of Jutland in Denmark. The company has existed since 1853.
Solid through and through, the links are of Anchor link style, completely handmade of course, and the clasp is ultra chic consisting of an elongated tapered bar which simply slips through a large round open link for utter ease of wear!
These beautifully handmade Danish bracelets are always sought after due to their classic styling and craftsmanship and this superb example is one of the best we have ever seen.
(Similar examples have been found online ranging between $1500 AUD to early $2000’s by this maker)
