Vintage (not quite antique) Australian jewellery at its most charming.
This divine and very sweet sentimental ring was crafted by George Rodd who established his workshop in 1919. By the 1930’s Rodd was THE leading manufacturer of jewellery in Australia. He used the trade mark ‘APEX’ from 1920 up until the firm became a limited company in 1948.
Crafted in 18ct yellow gold and designed as a wedding band or similar fearing a series of tiny Cherry Blossom styled motifs interspersed with adorable and sentimental Hearts!
In lovely condition, for some reason this early piece of Australian jewellery has not been worn often.. we wonder why! What ever the reason she is ready to be seen and loved again.
