Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Cameo Pendant / Brooch - Varese Italy
Charming vintage combination pendant and brooch Cameo manufactured in Varese Italy and stamped as such.
Crafted in 9ct yellow gold and featuring a lovely carved shell cameo of a young woman in profile with dainty features, flowers in her hair and pretty pendeloque earrings!
The surrounding solid gold frame is accented with a fine rope twist border and to the verso is a hinged bale, which can be hidden if wearing as a brooch, and the brooch pin and double C clasp fitting.
Dating we believe to around the 1970’s or thereabouts this particularly pretty Cameo looks just beautiful on your favourite chain or collar.

CONDITION
Very very good preowned condition. One internal natural hairline stress line which does not extent to the surface, either front or back, only viewable from the rear of cameo. Does not affect the stability or integrity of the cameo as it is a natural internal phenomenon. Hinged bale works effortlessly.
