Behold a truly enchanting early Australian cameo ring, an exquisite all original piece that captures the essence of a dancing nymph, all set within a splendid carved sardonyx cameo.

Crafted from 15ct rose gold, emblematic of the era, the shank exhibits a lovely rosy hue, a hallmark of antique pieces that feels gorgeous upon the finger.

Elegantly designed in a low rise to the finger Navette shape, the sardonyx is beautifully bezel set, showcasing the intricately carved figure of the dancing nymph.

Hallmarked for 15ct gold and featuring the ‘wheatsheaf’ stamp, the Manufacturing Jewellers Association guarantee mark for 15ct, this piece remains a rare gem as its maker's mark has yet to be identified in our early Australian jewellery literature, making it a truly unique discovery!

Presented in very good to excellent condition, this ring would definitely be a prized addition to the collection of any collector of early Australian jewels, or perhaps a delightful tribute for an August birthday!
