DESCRIPTION (Please scroll to the bottom to view video)

Rare and hard to find triple sovereign case dating to around 1900.

Crafted in Silver which is higher than usual Sterling (925), this one is is slightly higher grade Silver at 935, and STERLING.  Possibly German or Austrian in manufacture.

A beautiful planished finish (hammered) to both front and rear, and opening to reveal three spring bed compartments to hold two full sovereigns and one half sovereign.

A very weighty 40 grams, and large at 6.5cm x 6cm including top ring, perhaps one could wear this as a strikingly unusual pendant?

Stunningly and skillfully engraved with the monogram ‘RAG’, this sovereign case would have been treasured by the original owner, and we hope it will be loved once again in the hands of the new caretaker!
