Layby Plans & Holds

Do you have your eye on a fabulous piece but need some extra time to pay?  At Graisons, we offer suitable layby terms for pieces priced $400 AUD and above.

A 15% non refundable deposit will secure the layby for you with regular, fortnightly payments (of your monetary choice). Layby plans range 4, 6 & 8 months as determined by the purchase price.

$400 - $2000 = 4 months

$2000- $4500 = 6 months

$4500 - above = 8 months


PAYMENT METHODS

We offer the choice of Paypal and bank transfer as payment method for our layby plans.  Please let us know which method is most suitable.

We will issue a single Paypal invoice with the facility to make partial payments (of your monetary choice) on a regular fortnightly basis.  

If choosing bank deposit, a PDF invoice will be emailed to you containing our bank details and the invoice number to identify your ongoing payments.  We recommend creating a regular fortnightly bank transfer to help manage your layby plan.


PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT

We provide up to one (1) hour for the deposit to be paid once the invoice has been issued, please let us know once this has been completed. 

We regret the need to do this however in fairness to other prospective buyers and the effort required to list across multiple sites we have had to impose this requirement.

  

If the deposit has not been completed within one (1) hour and no contact has been made we reserve the right to relist. 


PAYMENT, NON-PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & TRANSFERRING LAYBYS

Fortnightly Payment

In exchange for our generous layby terms, we require regular, fortnightly payments of your monetary choice to maintain your layby agreement.

If there are any unforeseen reasons preventing you from completing these  payments please do not hesitate to contact us, we are very accommodating and will be more than happy to discuss alternate arrangements. 

During the course of your layby plan, we will send friendly reminder emails if we have not received payment as per the fortnightly agreement and we have not been contacted to discuss alternate arrangements.

Non Payment

If after two consecutive fortnights we have not received payment and have made every attempt to contact you to no avail, we reserve the right to cancel your layby, return the item to stock and retain the 15% deposit as cancellation/restocking fee.

Any payments received over and above the 15% cancellation/restocking fee will be issued as a store credit.

Cancellation

In the event that you wish to cancel your layby during the layby term, we will simply retain the 15% deposit as cancellation/restocking fee.  Any payments we receive over and above this cancellation fee will be issued as store credit.

Transfers

Please choose wisely prior to arranging a layby, our laybys are non-transferable.

NUMBER OF LAYBYS ACCEPTED

We accept up to three separate (3) laybys at the one time, each requiring a 15% deposit to secure.

HOLDS

While we understand that purchasing an item can be a big decision we can only hold an item for up to one (1) hour (without deposit) due to the number of enquiries we receive.

Please let us know if you need to hold an item so we can update our website and other platforms in the interim. General enquiries are not considered holds or potential sales.
