Antique 22ct Gold French Filigree Long Chain Circa 1900

Handcrafted from rich, lush and bright 22ct gold this stunning matinee length (60cm) chain dates to approximately the late Victorian to early Edwardian era and almost definitely with origins in France.

The detail and finely worked filigree is simply the best we have seen.
With alternating sections of hexagon motifs to elongated navette with tiny ball shapes adding a special touch.

Crafted originally without a ‘clasp’ this easy to wear chain simply sides over the head.. too easy!

Elegant and stylish these chains in their original condition and becoming very hard to source and this one will definitely not disappoint.

60cm or 23.6 inches
12.04 Grams
None that we can find
Tested to 22ct
Very good to excellent antique condition.  No repairs to be seen. Under x10 magnification the are a couple of minuscule dings to ‘ball’ shapes, only noting this for accuracy.  Gorgeous chain.
