Antique 18ct Yellow Gold Bloodstone Intaglio Seal Ring Birmingham 1902

Collections: Sold Archive

Ever popular antique 18ct yellow gold Bloodstone ring featuring an oval Bloodstone intaglio wax seal.

Crafted from brightly hued 18ct yellow gold, very solid and quite hefty at 8.33 grams, with a fully enclosed gold backing to the Bloodstone.
Beautifully and clearly hallmarked for 18ct, Birmingham assay and date letter for 1902.

Makers marks ‘M&M’ we believe are for James Woodward and Wilfred B Mole trading as Manton & Mole from Warstone Street Birmingham in the late 19th century.
Stylish, low profile and one of those rings that melt on to the finger, this very comfortable ring is a pleasure to wear.
