Antique 15ct Rose Gold And Pearl Portrait Pendant Locket Circa 1900

Collections: Sold Archive

A beautiful late Victorian to early Edwardian hand painted portrait miniature of a young girl.

Crafted in 15ct rose gold this large 5.5cm x 4.0cm (with bale) is bordered with 56 small natural half Pearls amounted front and back with her original domes glass panes.

Inside is the most stunning hand pained on vellum portrait of a young girl with serene brown eyes, blue ribbons to her hair in ring curls, and a gold heart locket at the throat, she is simply beautiful.

Of course you could replace this portrait with a treasure photo of you own if desired, or given the space inside this locket could also be used as a ‘shaker’ locket and filled with gemstones or similar.

The large bale will accommodate a good sized chain.
