Vintage Yellow Gold Natural Turquoise Cabochon Earrings

Crafted from - yellow gold, each earring is set with a striking natural Turquoise of wonderfully vivid sky-to-robin’s-egg blue, with soft aqua undertones and an attractive even body colour, a very tiny natural inclusion is visible to the face of the Turquoise, the reverse displays the natural character of the turquoise, with visible areas of blue-green colour together with earthy brown and grey matrix and natural tonal variation.
Each Turquoise cabochon is securely held within a wonderfully substantial oval gold bezel setting. The smooth, solidly constructed surround follows the contours of the stone, with a pleasing depth and weight to the gold that gives the earrings a beautifully robust, quality feel.
The fine-quality butterfly backs are strong and solid, matching and crafted from - yellow gold, and are firm and secure on their respective posts.
Measuring an elegant 1.68cm x 1.27cm in their settings, these quality earrings are a lovely size—not too big, not too small—and would look superb styled with perhaps a turquoise necklace or pendant!

Excellent vintage condition. The Turquoise is lovely, no chips or abrasions, well set and secure, with only a few very very small natural inclusions visible. Posts are firm straight and strong.
