Vintage *Rolled Gold* British Raj Era Braided Elephant Hair Bangle
Dating to the days of the British Raj - 1858 to 1947, this particular example would date to the later part of this era circa 1920-1940’s we believe, but perhaps earlier.
Crafted from gold wire (probably not real gold) and a ‘rolled gold’ plain section and featuring two braided elephant tail hairs inter-twinned with gold wire.
Quite a good size and easy to slip on and off at an internal circumference of 19cm.

Very good vintage pre-owned condition. Wire and hair in very good order, no nicks or breaks to either. Rolled gold section has a patina and shows some marks underneath but is fine.
