Beautifully handcrafted and wonderfully individual, this striking vintage ring showcases an elegant asymmetrical design that perfectly captures the artistry of handmade jewellery. Crafted in rich white gold (XRF tested as approximately 12.5 carat), the ring combines brilliant diamonds with vibrant natural emeralds that is both timeless and distinctive.
The design is centred around two round brilliant cut diamonds of graduated size, creating a graceful flowing arrangement. The larger diamond measures 4.60mm and is estimated to weigh 0.37 carats, displaying an attractive G colour and SI1 clarity, securely held within a classic six-claw coronet setting. Beside it, a smaller 3.50mm round brilliant cut diamond, estimated at 0.15 carats, is similarly claw set, with an estimated G colour and P1 clarity (valuation mentions a setter's ladder inclusion visible under magnification, noting for utmost accuracy!).
Surrounding the principal diamonds is an elaborate figure-eight arrangement grain set with 26 sparkling single cut diamonds, with a combined estimated weight of 0.27 carats. These accent diamonds are estimated to be G colour and VS clarity, adding exceptional brilliance and intricate vintage character to the design.
Providing a beautiful contrast are three natural emeralds. A vibrant 0.45 carat emerald-cut emerald forms the focal point of the lower cluster, displaying a rich deep green hue with the natural inclusions typically associated with genuine emeralds. Complementing this are two carré-cut emeralds, together weighing approximately 0.08 carats, bezel (rub-over) set to complete the balanced geometric design.
The handmade band features a refined knife-edge shoulder flowing into a comfortable half-round shank, highlighting the craftsmanship throughout. The ring weighs a substantial 6.06 grams and is a size O.
