Simply the sweetest prettiest little ring and as an added bonus she is Australian by Dunklings the jeweller circa 1940’s or there abouts.

Crafted from 9ct yellow gold and centred with a rectangular cut pale to medium hued Amethyst of approximately 0.35ct, four claw set, to a halo surround of bright white and sparkly brilliant cut white quartz (tested) which veritably shine almost like diamonds!

Designed as a low rise cluster to swept up shoulder and a yellow gold half round shank.

Such a pretty ring on the finger, full of vibrant sparkles, this little beauty won’t disappoint!

CONDITION
Very very good vintage condition.  All stones original with no chips or abrasions.  No thinning to shank.  Very pretty little Australian ring by Dunklings.

History of Dunklings 1898-1990's

Dunklings was one of the better known jewellers of Melbourne, beginning trading in 1893 as Dunkling and Silberman at 471 Elizabeth Street.  By 1898 they had moved to 317 Bourke Street and a decade later the premises had been enlarged and rebuilt.  Continuing to prosper under the control of William Dunkling and H.P Williams and in 1916 the proprietors opened another store at 294 Collins Street.

Dunklings new “Diamond House” was fully occupied prior to the outbreak of WWII and their staff had grown to over 100 people.

Producing a considerable proportion of their own jewellery, especially diamond engagement rings. By 1940 the firm was listed as ‘Dunklings The Jewellers Pty Ltd.
