A gorgeous vintage beauty with plenty of charm, this delightful Garnet Daisy Cluster Ring was crafted in 9ct yellow gold and dates to 1966, making it an incredible 60 years old this year!
The beautifully domed, daisy-style cluster features 19 round-cut natural Garnets, each measuring approximately 1.69mm, with an estimated combined weight of approximately 0.40 carats. Closely nestled together in delicate claw settings, the Garnets display wonderfully rich, deep wine-red hues, with lovely flashes of crimson as they catch the natural daylight.
Turning the ring over reveals a beautifully detailed, openwork under-gallery, thoughtfully fashioned with petal-shaped openings that complement the floral design above. A particularly lovely feature that allows light to enter beneath the gemstones whilst adding another element of craftsmanship to this charming piece.
The cluster is complemented by a slender, knife-edge shank, giving the ring a wonderfully streamlined and elegant appearance, allowing the pretty domed Garnet Daisy to take centre stage. Beautifully proportioned and exceptionally comfortable on the finger, it is a lovely example of vintage jewellery that remains just as wearable today.
Bearing full UK hallmarks for London 1966, this little beauty is celebrating its 60th birthday in 2026! Perhaps you're also celebrating this wonderful milestone, or know someone who is?
