This vintage Opal and Emerald ring is one of those pieces that instantly draws you in and refuses to be overlooked.
Crafted in 9 carat white gold, it centres around a truly captivating white Opal, alive with colour and personality. The Opal displays vivid large flashes of fiery orangey/reds, yellows and greens which dance across a soft lavender‑grey body tone, with delicate hints of blues appearing as the light shifts. In the right light, the effect is nothing short of spellbinding.
The Opal measures approximately 14.8 × 9.8 mm, weighing around 3.6 carats, and is securely held in a multi‑claw setting that allows maximum light to enter the stone.
Framing the Opal perfectly is a halo of 16 round, faceted natural Emeralds, their rich green tones creating a striking contrast that enhances the Opal’s vibrant play of colour.
Beneath the setting, a beautiful basket‑style gallery adds elegance and strength, flowing seamlessly into gently upswept shoulders and a comfortable flat shank.
On the finger, the ring feels wonderfully balanced and substantial, with an impressive overall spread of approximately 2.0 × 1.5 cm, giving it real presence without feeling overbearing.

Very good to excellent preowned vintage condition. The Opal is stunning, excellent play of colour, no chips or abrasions, the surface is smooth and unabraded. All claws holding Opal original and holding Opal very securely. Emeralds are natural, exhibit typical inclusion, some surface reaching, noting for accuracy only, a beautiful medium to deep hue. No thinning to shank.
