This pretty and interesting ring crafted from 18ct pale hued rose gold and set with a gorgeous natural black Star Sapphire, four claw set, to an ornate basket style setting, tapered upswept shoulders to a half round shank.
Always mesmerising, gems with this optical phenomenon - called an asterism from the Latin work ’astrum’ for ’star, exhibit a rayed ’star’ which glides across the surface of the Sapphire and best seen under a focused light or outside in the sun!
Earthy and naturalistic this warm, interesting and extremely eye catching ring is a must for the Sapphire collector!
