Victorian Sterling Silver Locket and Bookchain Collar Circa 1880-90
Quite an unusual Victorian example, this beautifully crafted Sterling Silver locket and bookchain features an almost 'frosted' matte finish to the front of the locket, opening to reveal both internal rims present, one has original 'glass' and one has a later plastic, its early paper also present. The verso of the locket is smooth and plain.
Lovely and heavy in construction, this locket weights an impressive 22.5 grams, the chain 40.1 grams with a combined total of 62.6 grams. The collar can be worn sans locket for a streamlined chic look!

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. The locket opens and closes very well, a little tight to close but snaps shut very securely. No dents to front or back, minor marks only. Chain is lovely no issues. Bolt ring works perfectly.
