Superb Vintage 9ct Rose Gold And Amethyst (28ct) Pendant
This strikingly elegant vintage pendant showcases a substantial oval-cut Amethyst weighing approximately 28 carats, beautifully set in warm 9 carat rose gold.
The Amethyst displays a medium purple hue with delicate lavender flashes that catch the light beautifully. Its deep cut enhances the brilliance, with the pavilion facets on the reverse also offering impressive sparkle when viewed from different angles.
The Amethyst is securely held by a classic six-claw setting within a simple, refined rose gold frame, complemented by its original solid and thick bail.
Measuring an impressive drop of 3.1 cm by 2 cm including the bail, the pendant has a commanding yet wearable presence. Weighing 9.66 grams, it feels satisfyingly substantial in the hand.

Condition
Very very good vintage condition. This is a lovely Amethyst with typical colour banding and the usual inclusions seen in natural Amethysts. Under x10 magnification there are some 2-3 tiny abrasions, very hard to see with the naked eye, mentioning for accuracy only. Claws are strong, original and holding this large gem securely.
