A splendid ring, modern in manufacture and of high quality, very much in the Art Deco style, which radiates exclusivity, superb quality and beauty, all wrapped up in in one of the most beautiful rings we’ve had the pleasure of offering.
Crafted from bright and beautiful 18ct white gold and centred with a stunning colour change Garnet weighing approx 3.02cts, which changes colour from a cognac hue (we think more the colour of black currant juice!), to a bright raspberry red in incandescent light. The colour(s) are both beautiful and fascinating to observe.
Surrounding the Garnet are a total of thirty four (34) round brilliant cut diamond which are also spectacular in their own right - an incredible ‘F’ in colour and a very fine clarity of VS-SI, beautifully cut, bright white and amazingly scintillating.
In classic Art Deco style, the top plaque setting is ‘Navette’ in shape, a shape that is flattering to all hands, with detailed millgraine edging to all diamond settings and delicate ‘triangle’ pierced work accenting the ye olde world charms of the design, and to the shoulders we find further stunning diamond detailing.
A magnificent ring, substantial in weight at a lovely 8 grams, and.. best of all in excellent condition AND included in purchase an independent retail replacement for $8,895 AUD from 2016, no doubt this would be substantially more in 2024.
