Superb Antique Victorian 15ct Pink Gold Pearl Enamelled Starburst Fringe Earrings Circa 1880
An incredible pair of highly desirable Victorian ‘Fringe’ earrings dating to the late Victorian era circa 1880’s.
Crafted from 15ct gold, rosy hued in colour, and designed as exceptionally long drops - 6cm - which frame the face beautifully.
Designed for pierced ears with long shepherds hook fittings, to an inverted ‘Tulip’ motif section with bead granulation, to an articulated oval, three dimensional, central panel with a blue enamel Star set with a single natural half seed Pearl and fine Etruscan revival rope-work throughout.
Further bead granulation enhances the outer oval frame, and below are six fabulous graduated tapered fringes which dance with every tilt of the head.
Immaculate in design and condition, with no repairs, losses or damage, perhaps the finest Victorian earrings in this high sought after design we’ve had the pleasure of offering.
