Superb Antique Art Deco Platinum And Diamond, Coral And Onyx Earrings Circa 1920-30’s
A fabulous pair of earrings, dating the Art Deco years, in a design and style which exemplify the era to perfection.
Crafted entirely from Platinum they showcase the intricate geometric style popular during the ’20s and ’30’s with their diamond studded diamond motifs, sleek black Onyx and pops of colour with the use of rich hued Mediterranean salmon Coral.
Articulated in design from the top diamond-set horizontal drop bar which suspends the exquisite Onyx and Coral rondel, articulated again to the first diamond shaped and diamond set five row panel and again to the Onyx and diamond step set rails, to yet another articulated diamond set diamond five row, to the final stunning Coral and Onyx which switch and dance to perfection.
An incredible face framing drop measuring 7.4cm in length and 1.1cm wide, these earring are not only beautifully made but very substantial in weight … weighing a combined 14.3 grams of solid Platinum, including the quality solid Platinum butterfly backings.
Exquisite craftsmanship is evident throughout, the details are superb with millgraine edging throughout which is no less than we expect from earrings of this calibre.
Presenting to the market infrequently and seldom in such fine condition, these incredible earring are a must for the true Art Deco collector or anyone who appreciates the finer things in life.
