This superb antique heart brooch is a wonderfully romantic piece, rich in detail and timeless appeal.
Dating to the late Edwardian to early Art Deco era, it beautifully reflects the refined craftsmanship and graceful design of the period, offering both visual impact and exquisite charm.
Crafted in 9 carat yellow gold with a Sterling Silver topped mount, the brooch features two striking heart-cut Almandine Garnet cabochons, each weighing approximately 2.5 carats.
Their deep, glowing red tones are framed by an elegant swirling silver design, delicately accented with three rose-cut diamonds and four petite natural Pearls. Suspended below, a further pear-cut Almandine Garnet of approximately 1.8 carats moves freely with every motion, adding life and sparkle to the piece.
The reverse reveals enclosed-back settings to the Garnets, along with the original pin and a secure rollover C clasp, all entirely in keeping with the era.
Beautiful millgraine edging and fine scroll work highlight the quality of the craftsmanship, while the brooch’s substantial feel—weighing 8.75 grams—adds to its sense of luxury.
In remarkable condition, it presents almost as new for its age.

Excellent antique condition. This is a beautifully manufactured and quality brooch. The Garnets are all in excellent condition, no abrasions, dulling or chips, all are well set and secure. The diamonds and Pearls are all original and in excellent condition also. Original pin - white gold - and quality roll-over safety clasp - very secure and closes perfectly and very securely. No damages or repairs. No issues to note. Stunning!
