An outstanding necklace, retailed originally by Rutherfords, and accompanied by its Rutherfords plush box, in superb condition and simply waiting to be worn and adored once again.
Designed as a long 50cm strand of alternating Lapis Lazuli beads and Freshwater Pearls, each Lapis measuring around 1.4cm each, and each exhibiting the most intense and stunning ultramarine blue hue, with characteristic flecks of pyrite here and there, and the wonderful silvery/white Pearls a large 1.0cm-1.24cm each.
Interspersing the Lapis Lazuli and Pearls are twenty two divine 9ct gold beads with ’Stardust’ finish witchy sparkle with an intensity difficult to describe!
The star of the show is the diamond encrusted ball-clasp.. crafted from 18ct gold and pavé set with sixty eight round brilliant-cut diamonds with weigh approximately 1.00ct in total. This stunning clasp can be worn to the front, diagonally, or even to the rear of the neck when wearing an up-do!
A heavy - 85 grams - and superbly crafted necklace, with a current Valuation and in excellent condition, this piece is an asset to any discerning buyers jewellery wardrobe.

Diamond set claps is exquisite, all diamonds are well set and secure, no chips or abrasions, fastens perfectly. Pearls are a stunning silvery white, Pearls show typical organic features, all well matched and lustrous. No issues to note.
