A superb antique Edwardian era ring, one of the finest we’ve had the (reluctant) pleasure of offering.
Designed in an era where elegance was paramount, this flattering scalloped edged Navette shaped ring is crafted from 14ct gold and, in typical antique fashion, topped in Sterling silver strings for the diamonds and Pearls.
Elongated and low rise to the finger, we find two lustrous round Pearls, basket set, and flanked by two spectacular old European cut diamonds each weighing an impressive 0.33ct each and of excellent colour and clarity - G-H and VS2 clarity.
Surrounding the Pearls and two principal diamonds are a further fourteen (14) quality rose-cut diamonds of excellent cut and quality.
One of the prettiest and beautifully designed rings of its type we have encountered, this superb ring is an heirloom piece that could be handed down through the generations to come.

CONDITION
Excellent antique condition. Two of the best old European-cuts we’ve seen, excellent condition with no chips or abrasions, excellent colour and clarity. All the smaller rose-cuts are beautifully faceted - not rough cuts - all in excellent condition and very secure in their settings. Pearls are a creamy white, original with no nacre loss, well set and secure. Shank is slim by original design, not thin. A ring of excellent quality manufacture with no damages, no repairs or additions. Superb.
