A strikingly pretty Russian silver gilt ‘Easter egg’ cloisonné enamel Butterfly pendant dating from the 1990’s onwards given the Russian hallmarks.

Stamped, amongst other marks, is the stylised ‘arrow’ mark used by Russikiye Samotsvety, a company founded in 1912 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and further Cyrillic stamps.

Crafted from silver (925) with a gilt gold wash, and pristine and vibrant cloisonné enamel work depicting a Butterfly to both sided of the egg in shades of blues, pinks, deep purple and white, absolutely stunning!

The egg attaches on its original sealed Silver suspension loop, and with its loop measures an impressive drop of 3.2cm making this large piece quite the conversation starter.

Symbolising transformation, beauty and renewal, Butterfly jewellery is a powerful and universal symbol which resonates on multiple levels.  This beautifully made, exquisite to the eye, and immaculate piece of this quality present rarely and will not disappoint.
