The Claddagh ring is a traditional Irish ring which represents love, loyalty, and friendship (the hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty).

The design and customs associated with it originated in the Irish fishing village of the same name in Galway. The ring, as currently known, was first produced in the 17th century.

Crafted from 9ct yellow gold and substantial at a hefty 6.82 grams this solid and large ring commands an impressive finger coverage.

Measuring 15.4mm x 20.3 across the finger and a lovely solid and wide shank which feels lovely on the finger.
