This is a truly beautiful and substantial modern 9-carat rose gold padlock bracelet, crafted in the classic curb link style and finished with a heart-shaped padlock. What makes this piece particularly special is the thoughtful modification to the heart padlock clasp. The clasp has been professionally and invisibly gold-soldered shut, ensuring it cannot accidentally pop open and risk the bracelet being lost. This is a refinement often recommended by expert jewellers, and I personally had this done to my own heavy gold padlock bracelet after experiencing the same issue. 

It makes the bracelet far more secure and, in fact, easier to wear, as it simply slips over the hand like a bangle rather than needing to be opened and closed each time.. a fiddly experience!

The bracelet will fit a *wrist* up to 22 cm in circumference, but because it must be slipped over the hand, it’s essential to measure the widest part of your hand - simply tuck you thumb into your palm and measure with a tape measure - For the best fit, this measurement should be 19 cm or less….

While the padlock has been soldered closed for security, a jeweller could easily fit a new arm to the padlock—or even replace it entirely—if you prefer the traditional opening clasp. However, many owners (including the previous one of this bracelet and myself!) find the soldered version far more practical and reliable

CONDITION
Excellent preowned condition.  As mentioned above the ‘arm’ of the padlock clasp has been internally gold soldered shut, there is no visible evidence of this to the naked eye, professionally done.  All links are very ‘thick’ .. this is a very solidly made bracelet, no dents to any links, all are soldered closed, and there is no shining between any link.  
The padlock is lovely, heavy, with no thing to the arm of the padlock.  No repairs or damages, minor marks other than gold only, mentioning for accuracy.. this is a stunning, heavy and well made bracelet.
