Modern 18ct Yellow Gold Natural Ruby And Diamond 0.50ct Ring
Modern in manufacture but channeling the architectural style of the Art Deco style this visually striking ring is a pleasure to wear.
Of substantial weight and quality workmanship she weighs a very impressive 7.8 grams, crafted in lush 18ct yellow gold, and is centred with a stunning deep red natural oval faceted Ruby.
The Ruby is bezel set to a surround of ten round brilliant cut diamonds all of which are housed inside a sort cornered square plaque. In stepped down fashion we find to either side a further six diamonds to each step, such a visual masterpiece!
The heavy and wide shank is semi-U shaped which is incredibly comfortable to wear, our personal favourite shaped shank!
This very impressive ring is bright, glowing and very beautiful, the contrast between the bright 18ct yellow gold, crisp bright liveliness of the diamonds, and the intense red of the Ruby compliment and contrast each other in quite spectacular fashion.

CONDITION
Very good to excellent preowned condition. A substantial solid manufacture with no thinning or wear to gold. Gems are all securely set. No chips to Ruby, one tiny mark on a lower girdle facet seen under x 10 loupe only, insignificant. Diamonds are bright white and lively. A significant and beautiful ruby and diamond ring.
