There’s something truly magical about a beautiful Moonstone, and this ring has captured it perfectly!
This outstanding retro-era piece features a large, splendid cabochon Moonstone measuring 14.4 mm x 7.9 mm and weighing approximately 11.7 carats. The stone is beautifully clear with a soft, ethereal glow and displays a very special schiller effect — the adularescence gently dances mostly around the perimeter, while the centre offers a lovely rolling “open window” effect that’s quite mesmerising in person (our videos show it best).
Set securely in six elegant claws, the Moonstone sits proudly above an open ornate gallery with graceful upswept shoulders and a wide, thick, flat shank that makes the ring feel wonderfully comfortable and stable on the finger.
Crafted in warm 9 carat yellow gold, this is one of our absolute favourite Moonstone rings we’ve come across. It has that classic retro charm — bold enough to make a statement, yet refined and feminine. The whole piece is in pristine condition, looking as fresh as the day it was made.
