An exquisitely beautiful and rare piece of functional jewellery for all the bibliophiles, we can guarantee you’ll be the envy of all your book loving friends when the see this one!

Crafted from 9ct yellow gold this amazing piece has a hidden surprise.. appearing at fist glance as a beautiful bookmark - which it is! - however with a slight pull of the Turquoise cabochon end, magically a equally beautiful propelling pencil appears!  Simply ‘push’ back in and the bookmarks acts to retract the Pencil perfectly. The pencil also has a a screw-off lid, set with the Turquoise cabochon, for storage of spare lead pencil.

The bookmark measures a large 9.0cm x 3.8cm, (and is also set with a rich blue Turquoise cabochon), quite a substantial piece, and the pencil once extended a lovely 7cm.

Fully hallmarked with a series of UK hallmarks for manufacture by John Collard Vickery of London, date letter stamped for 1924, and also a registered Trademark Number for the design also.

An incredible piece, the first we’ve had the pleasure of seeing and offering, this rare piece is a must for the serious collector.
