A fabulous estate find, this beautifully handcrafted Ruby and Diamond ring is simply breathtaking on the finger.
Crafted entirely from solid Platinum and centring a natural (no heat) oval faceted brilliant-cut Ruby weighing 1.40ct, held securely by four double-claws in slightly raised style, to Art Deco themed flat shoulders each set with a stunning round brilliant-cut diamonds weighing 0.05ct each - H colour / SI clarity.
Dating to around the 1940-50’s and very much in the Art Deco style of the previous decades.
The Ruby is stunning, deeply saturated, a rich and vibrant hue and in excellent condition with no chips or abrasions, and dazzles against the backdrop of the bright Platinum and vivid white diamonds.
A substantial ring - 5.65 grams - of excellent handcrafted manufacture, using the finest of gemstones, this ring would suit many occasions, perhaps an alternative engagement ring or ruby anniversary ring, or simply an special everyday ring!
Accompanied by a recent insurance valuation for $11,500 AUD stating (N) for no treatment to Ruby.

Very good to excellent preowned estate condition. The Ruby is lovely, no chips or abrasions, typical Ruby inclusions only. Claws are original and in excellent condition holding the Ruby securely. Diamonds are free from chips or abrasions, very securely multi-bad claw set. A substantial ring manufactured from Platinum throughout with no areas of thinning. Lovely!
