A dazzling pair of earrings for those who adore making the statement!
These substantial - 13.4 grams - earrings are not only hefty but are long drops which measure an impressive 4.2cm from the lobe and dance with every movement.
Designed for pierced ears with 9ct yellow gold shepherd hooks, to, interestingly, light blue emerald-cut Topaz which are set in gold plated settings (we have non idea why but we test everything!), and suspended below are two magnificent and large Keshi Pearls which are very well matched and display a stunningly visual phenomenon known as ‘orient’ -
“orient refers to the shimmering, iridescent colours that seem to move and dance on the surface of a Pearl when it's turned. This effect is caused by the way light interacts with the layered nacre that makes up the pearl. It's a visual phenomenon unique to pearls and is considered a desirable quality, adding to the pearl's beauty and value”.

Very very good preowned condition. The Pearls are lovely, large and display a lustrous ‘orient’ (play of shimmering colours). Shepherd hooks are strong and firm. A large and strikingly pretty pair of earrings.
