A striking contemporary ring, beautifully crafted in solid 18ct white gold and designed with wonderfully substantial proportions. Its broad, sculptural band gives the piece a luxurious presence on the hand, while the softly domed profile creates a beautifully balanced setting for the gorgeous Australian Sapphire and Diamonds.

At the centre sits a marquise-cut natural Australian sapphire, six claw set, weighing approximately 0.46ct, displaying a wonderfully distinctive green to olive-green hue with touches of golden warmth as it catches the light. This earthy, richly saturated colouring is particularly characteristic and gives the ring a sophisticated point of difference from more traditional blue sapphire pieces.
Surrounding the sapphire is an impressive arrangement of 30 princess-cut natural diamonds totaling approximately 1.20ct, complemented by a further 16 round brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.16ct. Assessed as G–H colour and SI clarity, the diamonds are beautifully bright and lively, creating an abundance of crisp white sparkle across the wide band and providing a striking contrast against the green Australian sapphire.
The larger princess-cut diamonds are invisibly set, creating a wonderfully seamless expanse of brilliance, while the surrounding smaller diamonds are neatly bead/claw set, adding further sparkle across the substantial white gold setting.
The interior is equally considered, with a beautifully pierced under-gallery featuring repeating quatrefoil and geometric motifs. This decorative openwork gives the underside of the ring an elegant, almost lace-like quality, showcasing the attention to detail that extends well beyond the face of the ring.

This beautiful ring presents in very, very good contemporary condition, with the Australian marquise-cut sapphire and diamonds free from chips or abrasions. The sapphire is securely held within a six-claw setting, the diamonds are likewise bright, lively with all stones appearing secure within their settings. The larger princess-cut diamonds are invisibly set, creating a wonderfully seamless expanse of brilliance, while the surrounding smaller diamonds are neatly bead/claw set, adding further sparkle across the substantial white gold setting.The band remains beautifully smooth and comfortable against the finger, with its substantial construction giving the ring a wonderfully luxurious feel while still being very wearable.
