Antique/Vintage 9ct Rose Gold Australian Boulder Opal Ring Circa 1930’s
Handcrafted and one of a kind this beauty is crafted from 9ct rose gold and set with a stunning large 1.7cm boulder Opal almost definitely from Koroit Queensland.
Brown body tone with iridescent speckles or bright oranges, reds, blues, greens, yellows dancing across the surface in an amazing show of colour.
Eight claw set to a simple low rise solid gallery and a thick and strong shank.
The shank is unusual in its shape (not bent) simply designed this way as this ring was hand crafted. Our fingers are not ‘round’.. and the shank supports the large spread of this wondrous Opal perfectly.. as it’s from our own collections we attest to this!
Magical as most Opals are, mesmerising and earthy, we will miss this one but she deserves to be worn and loved by her new caretaker.

Very good to excellent preowned condition. No chips to or abrasions to Opal. All claws original and strong. Shank is a ‘odd’ shape but this is in the hand made manufacture, very comfortable to wear! Shank is thick and strong. 9ct stamp clear.
