Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Propelling Pencil Bangle Circa 1900
Crafted from Silver which is testing at around 925 Sterling grade, and designed as ladies novelty propelling pencil bangle.
Designed for the busy Victorian lady of the house as an alternative to the pencil she would have worn on a chatelaine, allowing her to make quick notes on the go and looking quite modern and chic at the same time!
A clever design the ‘bangle’ section simply bends with ease and slips onto the wrist, and off again with the same ease.
A must for the collector, these pieces rarely present to the market. At present there is no lead pencil inside, they can be acquired however.

CONDITION
Good condition. We believe this one should retract and extend?, however it doesn’t. Other than this it is in very very good antique condition. Nib screws off easily to insert pencil ( we couldn’t find and 1mm lead, but it can be obtained ). Minor marks to silver, some patina to inside bangle area, insignificant.
