Antique Victorian Sterling Silver ‘In Memory Of’ Enamel Locket and Floral Engraved Bookchain Circa 1890
Quite possibly the most stunning, and versatile, Victorian locket and chain we have had the pleasure of offering.
The fist thing to note is the beautiful 48cm floral engraved chain, featuring fourteen rectangular panels engraved with a floral design, featuring not one but two Sterling bolt rings which allow this stunning chain to be separated into two lengths - 18cm and 32cm.
The 18cm length can, with the two bolt rings attached, be then worn as a beautiful antique bracelet.
The locket is on large proportions, 6.5cm x 4.2cm with bale, and features in black enamel, ‘IMO’ in stylised script representing ‘In Memory Of’.
In side are the two original silver rims and two original clear panes.
A large inverted ‘V’ shaped bale can accommodate many of your other favourite chains if you would like to wear the associated floral chain separately.
Combined the two pieces are stunning and never cease to receive compliments when ever they are worn.
