The beautifully formed Pansy is set with five pear-cut Amethysts, each weighing approximately 1.3 carats, displaying rich violet lavender hues.
At the centre, a tiny rose-cut diamond adds a delicate sparkle, while the slender bar brooch is accented with small floral details set with half seed pearls, lending a light and graceful finish.
In Victorian jewellery, the Pansy symbolised loving thoughts and remembrance, giving this piece an added layer of sentiment and meaning.
The brooch retains its original C-clasp and pin, both secure, and remains in excellent condition.

Very good to excellent antique condition. The Amethysts are stunning, no chips, abrasions or facet wear. The claws are all original and all gems securely set. Pin is original, strong (gold filled), as is the original C clasp, no repairs. No issues to note. A stunning all original Pansy brooch.
