This utterly charming Victorian acorn perfume bottle pendant is one of the sweetest little treasures we’ve come across in a while. Dating from the Victorian era, it was most likely worn on a chatelaine or used as a delicate dressing table accessory — a tiny, practical luxury for a lady of the time.
Designed in the shape of a classic Acorn, it carries beautiful symbolism from the Victorian period: the acorn represented strength, potential, and enduring life, often gifted as a token of love and good fortune.
The textured silver-plated cap has a lovely realistic textured finish, while the thick, ovoid glass body below is wonderfully substantial and crystal clear.
It’s in very good condition and ready to hold whatever your heart desires — a drop of your favourite perfume or scent, a few tiny dried flowers, a single gemstone, or even turned into a sweet little shaker locket.
Please note that the piece is silver plate rather than solid Sterling, and it shows some natural age-related discolouration on the metal — that soft patina only adds to its authentic, lived-in charm. If you prefer a brighter look, it could easily be re-plated in silver or gold, but many collectors love it exactly as it is.
Measuring a dainty 3.3 cm by 1.5 cm, this little acorn feels surprisingly weighty and well-made thanks to the heavy glass. We genuinely haven’t seen another quite like it, and it’s quickly become one of our favourite pieces this week.

Good antique condition. Lid/top show discolouration to the silver - This could be silver or rhodium plated if desired. Glass bottle is in excellent condition, very thick and solid glass, no chips. Lid screws on securely. No other issues to note.Explore Our Collection
