Antique Victorian *Gold Cased* Chalcedony Fob Pendant Circa 1890
A delightful piece dating to the late Victorian era circa 1890’s crafted in the style reminiscent of a miniature quizzing glass, a symbol of intellectual curiosity much favoured by the victorians.
Crafted in gold cased ornate fashion as per the era, and at the heart of this enchanting fob charm lies a beveled-edged oblong chalcedony, creamy white with an enchanting faint natural tan inclusions.
Measuring 3.7cm top to bottom and 2.5cm wide, this charming and whimsical fob pendant is quite the conversation starter and looks wonderful either suspended from you favourite chain or black velvet ribbon!

Very very good antique condition. No chips or abrasions to Chalcedony. Gold casing is intact with only minor loses seen to bottom edge and inner rim around Chalcedony in one spot, otherwise very intact and thick. Swivels well and fluidly.
