Antique Victorian 9ct Rosy/Yellow Gold Long Guard/Muff Chain - Circa 1890-1900
A particularly lovely antique long guard chain, sometimes also called a Muff chain, dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian era.
A jewellery wardrobe staple these chains have become increasingly sought after, again, and this one is a popular, long length at 134cm and 10 grams in weight.
Superbly crafted, in excellent condition, this strong and durable guard chain lends itself to holding many a favourite pendant but not too weighty to be uncomfortable.
Crafted from 9ct gold which is a subtle not quite yellow not quite rose in hue, and features a nice sized 9ct dog-clip which is also in excellent condition and slightly more rosy in hue.
