Antique Victorian 15ct Yellow Gold Locket Circa 1890-1900
Very rich and lush in hue, crafted from heavy - 12.9 grams - 15ct yellow gold, and in designed as a classic unadorned perfectly oval double sided opening locket.
Upon opening we find an original glass compartment, deep enough to hold not only a photo but if desired multiple gemstones (think shaker locket) or perhaps dried flowers which are present at the moment.
Opening and closing perfectly to secure your chosen treasure, this quite large 3cm x 2.4cm Victorian locket is lovely worn on your favourite chain or perhaps a sultry velvet ribbon would be equally stunning!

CONDITION
Very good to excellent antique condition. A beautifully crafted heavy locket, opens and closes with a nice secure snap. Original glass compartment to one side, glass had no chips or scratches, is easy to remove and replace. Minor marks to gold only. A beautiful piece of jewellery.
