Fabulous 15ct gold Georgian ring crafted in the 18th century circa 1780.
Set with an old cut Citrine weighing approximately 2.5cts, bezel set and foil backed, to a shoulder rose-cut diamond either side in silver settings typical of the era, and also for backed.

The shoulders bear a small silver detail in open worked fashion, to the then also open detailed 15ct gold section and to then then solid gold shank.

A ‘rayed’ back is seen to the verso of the Citrine, and ‘c’ curls linking Citrine gallery and shoulders, also quite typical of rings in the 18th century.

Presenting less often to the market 18th century rings have soared, once again, in popularity, and this 240 year old treasure would be a wonderful addition to any serious collectors inventory.
