





Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Double Sided Seed Pearl Locket Circa 1905

This beautiful Edwardian locket circa 1905, is crafted in 9 carat rose gold and carries a timeless, sentimental charm.
Designed as a double-sided photo locket, it features its two original thick domed glass panes and is framed to the perimeter with a delicate border of natural half seed Pearls, all original and in lovely condition.
Measuring 4.2 cm x 2.5 cm including the original V-shaped bale, it has an elegant and charming presence and will feel especially special when worn close to the heart when your own treasured photo are popped inside.
The original thick domed glass panes are still in place, and as there is currently no photo inside, they have a slight movement in the setting — perfectly normal for an antique piece of this age - just needs a photo, or two, however quite suitable to be worn as is if desired!

Condition
Very good antique condition. The Pearls are all original, no re-sets or re-gluing, all well set and secure. Original V shaped bale is nice and strong, no thinning.Two thick original glass panes inside - rear glass has some nibbles around the outside rim, front glass no chips.
Please note this is a photo locket and needs a photo or perhaps some dried flowers inside to plump out the glass to keep them firm, this is how they are designed! No other issues to note.
