Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Double Sided Photo Locket - Circa 1910-15
Manufactured around the early 20th century this utterly charmingly petite proportioned 9ct gold double sided photo locket measuring 4.0cm x 3.0cm (with bale).
With original double compartments which are we believe early ‘plastic’ probably casein, much more durable than glass.
Fine ‘balls’ embellish the outer frame and with a fully functional screw top bale which is easy to wind on and off.
In lovely condition for her 120 plus years, this example can be worn without a photo inserted if desired.
Pop in your favourite photo or even some pretty dried flowers!

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. Winding mechanism winds very well, easy to use and secure. Panes are free from chips. No dents or dings. Panes slightly move, would benefit from a photo as designed for, however can definitely be worn without a photo inserted. Slight fading to ‘gold wash’ over the 9ct with age, noting for accuracy only.
