This exquisite antique Edwardian bangle is a stunning piece crafted from 15ct gold, featuring a rich, high-carat matte finish achieved through a blooming technique, perhaps the most beautiful and finely finished blooming we’ve had the pleasure of offering.
At its center lies a captivating oval faceted stone made of purple glass/paste, very typical of the era, securely held by multiple claws that showcase its elegance.
On either side of the central stone, you'll find a delicate arrangement of natural half-seed pearls: one row consists of luminous creamy white pearls, while the other showcases soft lavender-hued pearls, adding a subtle touch of colour contrast, a lovely detail and a nod to the charm and quality of this piece.
The oval hinged bangle is adorned with intricate ornamentation, including tiny ball accents and delicate scrollwork that enhance its decorative appeal.
It opens and closes with a convenient push-in box clasp and is complemented by an original safety chain, ensuring both security and ease of wear.

Very good to excellent antique condition. No dents or dings to any part of bangle. Clasp functions perfectly, very secure. No chips or abrasions to Amethyst glass, a beautiful colour and facets. Multi claws all original, secure and lovely. All Pearls appear original, no re-glues - original glue / adhesive as Pearls are non claw set. Original safety chain. No repairs, damage or issues. A stunning early bangle, almost definitely Australian in manufacture, quality work.
