History of Abraham Benjamin

Abraham Benjamin founded his business in 1887 in Melbourne after the dissolution of his previous endeavour with P. Falk and Co.
By 1903 the firm had become A. Benjamin and Son Pty Ltd.   They were members of the M.J.A. of Victoria from the time of its inception (1889).

This extraordinary early ring is one of Benjamins finest examples of a mens (unisex now..) ring, featuring a large 1.5cm x 1.2cm Bloodstone.

The Bloodstone has a lovely deep green colour with flecks of red, which is where the name comes from.

Modelled from lush soft hued 15ct rose gold this signet ring makes quite a statement given its impressive size.

Smooth wide shoulders at 1.5cm tapering to a very solid and so comfortable 5.5cm.
Hallmarked superbly with Benjamins iconic ‘Bee’ hallmark, 15 and the ‘hanging fleece’ guarantee mark.

Large and heavy at 8.8 grams
