Antique Australian Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Solid Opal And Diamond Bangle Circa 1900 Independent Valuation Included In Purchase For $6000 AUD
Dating to the late Victorian to very early Edwardian era, almost definitely crafted in Australia, from 9ct rose gold and adorned with a series of nine graduating solid white Opals which display a fiery play of colour reminiscent of glowing sunset with flashes of blues, greens and yellows against a simmering pink red undertone!
Interspersing the Opals are sixteen twinkling small ‘macle’ (rough-cut) diamonds whose sparkle compliments the Opals beautifully.
The sleek rosy gold - 9ct - bangle is hinged, oval in shape, and secures perfectly with a discreet push in box clasp and, for added security, the original safety chain is present also.
In quite extraordinary condition with no dulling, let alone chips, to the Opals and the bangle miraculously has no dents or dings, incredible condition for her approx 120 plus years.
