Antique Australian 9ct Rose Gold ‘Kewpie’ Charm/Pendant Circa 1910

Absolutely adorable antique 9ct rose gold Kewpie dating to around 1910 or thereabouts.
Invented by cartoonist Rosie O’Neill around 1909 and quickly becoming an international sensation including in Australia where this particular example was almost definitely made given the style of 9ct stamp and provenance.
Oh hollow construction and therefore quite light, however this 110 year old charm/pendant is in fine condition with no significant issues, and retains its original sealed top jump ring.
Googly side glancing eyes, wee little belly button and outstretched hands with teeny fingers are all apparent on this little piece of iconic Australian jewellery and would be a little asset to any jewellery lovers collection.

Very good to excellent antique condition. Original sealed jump ring, no thinning. One tiny hard to see impression near cowlick on face, insignificant. Minor marks to verso, insignificant. All fingers and toes present, no repairs. Cute!
