Antique Art Nouveau 15ct Yellow Gold And Pearl Pendant - Circa 1915
Stylistic and quite divine this antique pendant captures the essence of the Art Nouveau period beautifully.
Almost definitely Australian in manufacture this exceptionally pretty pendant is crafted from 15ct yellow gold and designed in naturalistic free form style depicting a five petalled flower with natural half seed Pearls set to each petal, and to the centre a natural river Pearls.
A curvaceous ribbon like swirl of gold enables the flower form and flows to form the large ‘loop’ which acts as the bale to which a large gauged chain can be used to suspend it. However a stunning black ribbon could be used also, or even you favourite bolt ring or dog clips, this is certainly a versatile pendant!
Elegant and very very pretty, this charming piece evokes the whimsy and originality of the Art Nouveau period.
